Friday Faves 28 - Hallowe'en Part 1

Whether you look upon this time of year as a time of the Solstice Celebration, a religious holy day or you have children with a penchant for trick or treating or you're just a big kid at heart with an equally big sweet tooth -- Hallowe'en, or All Hallow's Eve, is a great time of year to enjoy the changing weather and maybe take in or throw a party or two.

In this week's Hallowe'en Friday Faves we're going to look into some costumes for you, your little ones and maybe even your significant other.

But before we get started, let's listen to a great old tune that's always been a favorite of mine. It's campy and fun and I'm sure most of you will recognize it (and probably already know which song I'm talking about). Well, you know, I always did like a good mash.

Now, let's go shopping!

Hallowe'en Costume Shop Number 1
Shop name: Tulletime

Okay. I have got to say, have you ever seen anything more precious? This Fall Fairy costume is so colorful and gorgeous! And talk about the photos you could take of your little one! Completely sweet! I love the name of this shop, too! Very clever.

Hallowe'en Costume Shop Number 2
Shop name: Noni's Closet

And for your little boy, how about a sweet little Native American style costume. This one brings back memories for me, because my mother made a Seminole girl's costume for me when I was about 10 or 11. I absolutely adored it! The wonderful thing about a costume like this for a child is that, like me, they could also wear it for show and tell and teach their fellow students a little something about the Native Peoples of the Americas.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you're a The Tudors fan -- I've got just the costume for that King Henry in your life or that little bit of King Henry in you! This costume is both manly and sophisticated and is priced very reasonably.

Not to worry! I didn't forget the fur babies out there! This next costume is for Fido -- or even Fifi. It's an adorable ensemble that you have just got to see to believe!

Wellington is quite the handsome fellow, too!

Well, we've come to the end of another Friday Faves. I trust your costuming needs have been met and if not there are plenty of other great costumes out there on Etsy just awaiting the click of your mouse.

Got any costume ideas that I didn't touch on? I'd love to read all about it in the comments.

Be sure to check back next week for another Friday Faves when there will be even more Hallowe'en fun to come!

Until then, have a great weekend everyone and take care out there!
