Frday Faves 40 - All Things Groundhog

Yep. Yep. I'm a day late and a dollar short to be talking Groundhogs, but I love those cute little chubby things (probably because I'm a cute little chubby thing) and I wanted to give a little time to one of my favorite critters.

A little mood music to carry us through:

Now, let's go shopping!

Groundhog Shop Number 1
Shop name: Amber Alexander Original Paintings, Prints and Cards

Now to start things off we're going to go for the head! That's right! What could be better than a head full of groundhog? Well, I'll tell ya! Nothin'! This little guy will make every day a good hair day!

Groundhog Shop Number 2
Shop name: Stiick Around

Here we have a rather clever design using a maple burl that resembles a groundhog. I love stuff like this! I once had a 'whale' that was from a piece of burnt driftwood that I found, and this piece really does remind you of a groundhog. What a nice coffee table accessory! It would also make a nice centerpiece for a dining room table.

Bitsy Creations would like to remind all of us that one should never drive while angered. Thank you, Bitsy Creations, for a great piece of advice and an extremely cute way of keeping us reminded of it! LOVE this!

Combining holidays is a great way to get the best out of whichever holidays you combine. Well, what says love more than a big furry groundhog holding a cupid's bow and arrow? Probably only cupid himself! But, for my money, I'll take Punxsutawney Phil any day!

This tiny little guy is sure to make you go --- "Awwww!" He's a real heart breaker, this one! I don't know how the artists got so much cuteness to fit inside such a small creation, but they did!

Now, if you can tell me why I chose 'I Got You, Babe' for this week's Friday Faves theme song, then...

you get the pleasure of knowing you got the right answer! No, seriously, I'll send you a nice little surprise. So, tell me all about it in the comments below and you could be the owner of a--- Hey! Not so fast. Did you think you were going to trick me into giving away the surprise? Well, you almost did! Oh, I better watch out for you guys! You're too clever for me!

Next week's theme we'll be looking for Etsy shop finds that have to do with Black History! Until then, have a great weekend everyone and take care out there!

Great things! I don't normally do cute, but the crocheted animals are adorable! How in the world, what size hook... more than adorable, amazing.

Since I won your last giveaway, I won't try the contest : ) Am anxious to find out what the answer is, though.

Happy Spring! (It will come, it will come, it will...)

Indeed, you are right, they are amazing. I can't imagine crocheting anything that small.

Thank you for giving others a chance at the contest. That's very considerate of you. I hope someone will take that as a cue to jump in here and give it a try. I bet someone out there knows the answer. ;-)

Happy Spring to you, too! (O, yes! It will come!) ;-)
