Friday Faves 65 - Paper

Paper roses. Paper roses. Oh, how real those roses seem to be...

I love paper. I love to make things out of it. I love to write on it -- especially to write on it, and I love to actually make paper.

In fact, here's a great tutorial on one of my favorite methods for making paper, which is the Deckle and Mold method. This is a great way to recycle old bills and flyers or newspapers. You can even dye the pulp to add interest:

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I'll be sharing tutorials on various arts and crafts every Tuesday in my new feature, simply called Tuesday Tutorials.

And now to get us in that paper mood here's an old great -- Paper Doll sung by The Mills Brothers:

Now, let's go shopping!

Paper Shop 1
Shop name: Michele's Cottage

Here we have a lovely paper hydrangea bouquet that is both eco-friendly and a lasting remembrance item from your wedding. I love hydrangea and this paper version looks so real!

Paper Shop 2

Now, this is truly a fun item, and definitely one of my favorite things made from paper. Yes, I do love greeting cards. Feel free to send me one. ;-)

Very cute shop name, too!

Paper Shop 3

I love paper beads and these are quite beautiful! Also, this shop is currently offering Free Shipping in honor of their Anniversary.

Paper Shop 4

I've seen a lot of paper garlands, but this one is unique.

Thanks for stopping by! Drop back by for a 1940s version of Music Monday and don't forget my new feature, Tuesday Tutorials.

Have a great weekend, everyone, and take care out there!
