Friday Faves - Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice, otherwise known as the shortest day or even the darkest day of the year, is the official beginning of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere. But, not to fear, the sunlight will return and grow stronger with each passing day after the Solstice, though very slowly. Many people around the world have celebrations during this time of year.
