Friday Faves 38 - Son of Valentine's Day Finds

Here we are again with some more great Valentine's Day gift ideas for your honey.

As you'll remember from last week's Friday Faves, I held a contest where I asked why I had chosen Tuesday Afternoon as that week's theme music. Anne Marie answered correctly when she said that it was because Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday this year. Her prize was a heart scarf in dark and light rose. Congratulations Anne Marie! And thanks to you and Steve for your participation in my contest!

One of my favorite movies, as I have probably already mentioned, is The Princess Bride by William Goldman. He also wrote a book called The Princess Bride, which, I feel, is just one of the best books around for its humor and interesting storyline devices. I highly recommend it!

So, in honor of that film and book and, of course, in honor of all romantic loves, I would like to share the theme song from the film with you this week. The song was written by Willy DeVille and is called Storybook Love. Sadly, Willy DeVille is no longer with us, but I'm sure he knows how appreciated his music will always be. Thanks Mr. DeVille!

I don't know what it is about the human heart, but I just love it! Whether it's on a t-shirt, a scarf or, like this, a gorgeous necklace -- I love the shape, the intricacy and range and depth of emotion that it is capable of feeling. O, and it pumps blood through our veins pretty good, too!
