Friday Faves 68 - Lollipops!

I have always been a sucker for, well, suckers. All day! Half an hour! Bite size! Three bites to a center filled with chocolate! Centers filled with bubble gum! And, something highly naughty that I first saw on Etsy, though I'm sure they existed before that -- Cake Pops! I love lollipops.

I remember coming home from school (my bus stop was by what was then the Majik Market, a convenience store) where I would grab a Charms fruit flavored lollipop, usually grape or cherry. I loved to dip it in water while I licked it and then the water would have a nice, light fruity flavor too! Astropops were cool, too!

Well, some of those old-style lollipops are gone forever. Retro candy companies make similar versions, but they aren't exactly the same. I know. I was there when a Charms fruit flavored lollipop was larger than today's version.

But, you know what? It doesn't matter, because those wonderful candy makers over at Etsy have some pretty awesome lollipops to offer, and you'll see what I mean when you get a look at these.

But first, there must be music!

And here's a song by the Polish group The Lollipops with a title that matches another childhood favorite of mine -- Candy Cigarettes:

Now, let's go shopping!

Lollipop Shop 1
Shop name: B.O.S.S. Girls, Inc.

How amazing is this first one -- German Chocolate no less! And, when you purchase, you're helping underprivileged girls learn how to be their own bosses, too!

Lollipop Shop 2
Shop name: The Groovy Baker

Looking for that perfect afternoon pick-me-up? Go ahead! Nibble on one of these at work. I promise I won't tell. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

Lollipop Shop 3
Shop name: Entirely Sweet

Oh, my gosh! These are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

Lollipop Shop 4
Shop name: The Great Vorelli

You say you're watching your waistline and you don't feel you should indulge in any of the decadent goodies I've shown you thus far? Never fear! Lollipop earrings are here!

Well, that's all for this week's Friday Faves. Be sure to drop back by for Music Monday when I will give you some extra sweet ear candy when I share some of my favorite Bubble Gum Pop songs with you. Also, this coming week's Tuesday Tutorial will be sure to inspire us all when we learn how to make our own rag rugs!

Have a great weekend, everyone, and take care out there!
