Friday Faves - The Holidays 2

For our second week of Holiday shopping, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday on the horizon, today's focus will be on shops under those two categories.

The beautiful thing about cyber Black Friday shopping is you can certainly avoid the body crushing crowds and hysteria. I'm definitely in with that! And for those of you who are also Black Friday avoiders this Friday Faves is dedicated to you!

With a little mood music from Jessica Frech with Black Friday Night, a delightful little parody of Katy Perry's song Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), we begin:

Now, let's go shopping!

Black Friday Shop 1
Shop name: Elise Thomas

I love this little tree ornament! It's quite pretty enough to even be used as a necklace.

Black Friday Shop 2
Shop name: Sew Faithful

Charming doesn't even come close to describing these cute little Aimee Ray critters, they are truly adorable!

(The shop owner is proud to be licensed to make these lovely Aimee Ray creations, as well.)

Black Friday Shop 3
Shop name: Heather Galler Art

I love all of Heather's pop art pieces but I had to go with the Great Dane because, well, they're just so great!

Black Friday Shop 4
Shop name: Sam Osborne Store

This lovely digital print would give any office, home study or living area a beautiful focal point. Whenever you need a little courage you could simply look up and take these words to heart. A great reminder to get out and do it!

Whew! We made it! All of those scary crowds are kindly at a safe distance and we can feel just a little smug satisfaction in knowing that not only have we spent wisely we have also helped the handmade movement. Let it be a revolution! And our battle cry can be -- Run Away From Black Friday!!!!

Just kidding! But I do, honestly, avoid things like that and I do prefer to make handmade item purchases when I can. I hope you will too.

I'll be continuing this holiday theme for the next four Fridays and then I'll be taking a break until after the New Year here in the U.S. This upcoming Monday I'll share music with you from Styx and I'll be continuing the around the house DIY tutorials on Tuesday.

Until then, have a great weekend everyone, and take care out there -- especially on Black Friday!
