I am back and ready to rock your Thanksgiving Day Traditional world! Yep. That's right. In this week's Friday Faves we're going to delve into a few of the Thanksgiving Day traditions that have become such a part of American culture.
Here's a little song to start us on our way today. It's Adam Sandler, so, yes, it gets a little inappropriate, but there's a few giggles along the way, too. Enjoy!
Now, let's go shopping!
Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 1
Shop name: Moon Raven Designs
One of my favorite Thanksgiving Day Traditions is breaking that wishbone and making a wish. I had to do a bit of looking around but I found what I think is a really cool depiction of just such a wished upon wishbone necklace. Take a look. I think you're really going to like the designers attention to detail. I love it!
Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 2
Shop name: jessica N designs
Of course the meal itself is probably the main tradition when it comes to Thanksgiving and here we have a serving spoon and fork that really set the tone for the meal. A very clever design idea from Jessica N Designs.
[Note: I just saw where this set has just sold today, but don't be afraid to contact the shop owner. I'm sure she would be happy to work with you on something similar.]
Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 3
Shop name: Little Goat's Natural Soaps
This next tradition is actually for the day after Thanksgiving. You know, Black Friday! Yes, when a lot of people begin their holiday shopping for the year. And what Little Goat's Natural Soaps has done is create a great gift pack that can be divided up for gift giving in any number of ways. Just check out all of those gorgeous soaps!
Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 4
Shop name: Whatsewever Designs
And what's Thanksgiving in America without a little football? This onesie is the perfect way to introduce your little "football" to the whole family. We're talking some serious cute here! Love the shop name too!
Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 5
Shop name: The Spooky Bones Company
We can't forget the Thanksgiving Day Parade! What a wonderful tradition, and at The Spooky Bones Company you can find that perfect shade of nail polish to go along with your favorite parade.
Well, that's all we have time for this week. I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving Day Traditions, whatever they may be, and that you have a wonderful holiday. I'll be back on December 2 with more Friday Faves just for you when we start walking through a winter wonderland of ideas for the various holidays of the upcoming season.
Which holiday are you looking most forward to? I'd love to read all about it in the comments.
Until December 2, when Friday Faves returns, have a great weekend and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and take care out there!
