Friday Faves 33 - Thanksgiving Day Traditions

I am back and ready to rock your Thanksgiving Day Traditional world! Yep. That's right. In this week's Friday Faves we're going to delve into a few of the Thanksgiving Day traditions that have become such a part of American culture.

Here's a little song to start us on our way today. It's Adam Sandler, so, yes, it gets a little inappropriate, but there's a few giggles along the way, too. Enjoy!

Now, let's go shopping!

Thanksgiving Tradition Shop Number 1
Shop name: Moon Raven Designs

One of my favorite Thanksgiving Day Traditions is breaking that wishbone and making a wish. I had to do a bit of looking around but I found what I think is a really cool depiction of just such a wished upon wishbone necklace. Take a look. I think you're really going to like the designers attention to detail. I love it!

Of course the meal itself is probably the main tradition when it comes to Thanksgiving and here we have a serving spoon and fork that really set the tone for the meal. A very clever design idea from Jessica N Designs.

[Note: I just saw where this set has just sold today, but don't be afraid to contact the shop owner. I'm sure she would be happy to work with you on something similar.]

This next tradition is actually for the day after Thanksgiving. You know, Black Friday! Yes, when a lot of people begin their holiday shopping for the year. And what Little Goat's Natural Soaps has done is create a great gift pack that can be divided up for gift giving in any number of ways. Just check out all of those gorgeous soaps!
